Lightwork Therapy and Recovery is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Nights/Weekend On-Call Admissions Coordinator to join our admissions team in Braintree, MA. This vital role ensures seamless client access to care during evening and weekend hours. Responsibilities include answering admissions calls, conducting thorough pre-assessments, scheduling clients for intakes, and determining appropriate services based on client needs. The Admissions Coordinator must have a strong understanding of health insurance and be able to assess when to refer clients to alternative levels of care if their needs fall outside the scope of the services provided.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work independently, and experience in mental health or substance use admissions processes. Knowledge of various levels of care and insurance verification is required, as is the ability to assess client needs and provide compassionate, client-centered support during the admissions process.
This position reports to the Admissions Director and offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in helping individuals take the first step toward recovery. Hours are Monday-Friday 5:00pm-10:00pm, Saturday & Sunday, 9:00am-8:00pm. Fully remote.
Compensation: $20-25 per hour. Some flexibility in scheduling.

Mental Health Therapist
Location: Lightwork Therapy and Recovery – Woburn, MA
Lightwork Therapy and Recovery is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our Woburn, MA location. This position involves providing individual and group therapy services to clients seeking support for mental health challenges in a trauma-informed, client-centered environment. The therapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, facilitating evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.
This role requires strong clinical skills, cultural competence, and experience working with diverse populations managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will be licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts (LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent/higher) and demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Availability for one evening shift per week is required to accommodate client schedules.
Compensation range: $70-75,000 plus benefits and 3 weeks PTO.

Clinical Lead (Mental Health Therapist)

Lightwork Therapy and Recovery is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Lead (Mental Health Therapist) to join our Braintree, MA location. This key leadership position involves providing individual and group therapy services, conducting comprehensive intakes and assessments, and supporting the clinical team in delivering high-quality mental health care. The Clinical Lead will maintain a small caseload, facilitate evidence-based group therapy sessions, and assist the clinical staff with day-to-day operational challenges, including crisis management and client care coordination.
This role requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and experience working with diverse populations managing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other conditions. The ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field and be licensed in Massachusetts as an LMHC, LICSW, or equivalent. A proven ability to support a team in a fast-paced environment and proficiency in therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) are preferred.
Compensation range: $75,000-$85,000 plus benefits and 3 weeks PTO.

The Mental Health Technician plays a vital role in supporting clients through their recovery journey by providing direct care, supervision, and assistance with daily therapeutic activities. This position involves monitoring client safety, supporting group therapy sessions, assisting with admissions processes, and ensuring a nurturing and therapeutic environment aligned with trauma-informed care principles.
Key responsibilities include observing and documenting client behaviors, facilitating skill-building activities under clinical supervision, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with treatment standards. The Mental Health Technician will collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure clients are receiving the highest quality of care while maintaining professional boundaries and fostering a compassionate, supportive atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in behavioral health or a related field, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and supportive during moments of client distress. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preference given to candidates pursuing or holding a degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
Compensation range: $18-23 per hour.
