“The six weeks I spent attending Lightwork were some of the most challenging and hopeful that I have had. I learned a lot about myself, my emotions, and how my thoughts impact my life. I also learned ways to cope and there was a gentleness about the providers that allowed me to grow at the pace I needed during the program. I am happy to report that I am still utilizing those strategies a few weeks later with no plans to slow down. I have a lot of hope that I can continue to challenge my inner experience and celebrate my strengths as I was reminded of while at Lightwork. And, I am proud to report that I have already referred one of my own counseling clients to Lightwork with a positive response so far. I plan to continue to refer clients as needed. This style of group and IOP is very needed in MA and I’m glad to have been a part of it! Thank you for the care and responsiveness during the entire process.”

“I never imagined that I would need the level of support for my mental health that I did leading up to my time at Lightwork. I had never participated in any sort of group therapy or treatment facility prior to Lightwork, and I had no idea what to expect. From the very first phone call, I felt supported and cared for. Immediately I was drawn into a community of women who were all going through very different experiences, yet still sharing such similar challenges. I felt that everything we learned and practiced in group was relevant to the challenges I was facing, and I left every week with new strategies and ways of thinking about myself and how I interact in the world around me. This facility changed my life — and likely saved it. I left Lightwork with a deeper understanding of and connection to myself and my mind, and that alone has healed me incredibly. I met women that I hope to have in my life for a long time. I feel more confident in myself and my ability to make and keep those connections with others. This experience was more than I ever expected, and I hope that any woman in need of support finds their way here. Thank you all so much for the work you do!”

“I was so low and broken before starting this program. I am so grateful that this was recommended to me by the first therapy treatment center I contacted. I was hesitant so start because of the time commitment but now I know why it is set up this way! Having a routine again and something to look forward to going to was so helpful. The staff at Lightworks were so friendly, welcoming and supportive. Specifically Brett and Paige made the group for me. Brett’s 1:1 counseling was so helpful and meaningful. For the first time I feel like I can put the past behind me and move forward with confidence. You guys have a great thing going on and I hope that this is the first of many programs like this! Being able to share and listen in a safe group setting was so therapeutic. Thank you to everyone at Lightworks for healing and supporting me through my recovery!! I can’t wait for the alumni events!”
